The Conference will take place at the renowned lakeside resort Bled, at the feet of the Alps. Bled offers walks along the lake shore and to the 12-th century castle with a magnificent view, swimming, as well as rowing and boat trips to the island. The mountains surrounding Bled offer many longer trips.

Bled is easily reached by road (from Austria: motorway via the Karawankentunnel, from Italy: motorway via Trieste and Ljubljana), by air (Ljubljana Airport is 35 kilometers from Bled), by rail (line Salzburg - Villach - Lesce/Bled - Ljubljana) and by bus from Ljubljana. We shall do our best to pick up the participants at the Airport and at the Lesce/Bled railway station. If you need local transfer from/to the airport or the railway station, please supply the necessary information in the Registration form.

Almost all participants will be located at the four-star Golf Hotel (click here and select "Golf Hotel") so that the interactions will be optimised.
